Among smart people, what are the subjects where they have more-correct than average views? Evolutionary psychology?
My experience is: 1) among smart people, 90% know _less than nothing_ about intelligence research (i.e. they're systematically misinformed). 2) among ordinary people, 90% have the same general intuitions about intelligence that intelligence research has shown to be correct.

lol what ordinary people do you meet I see multiple intelligences parroting to the point you have to see real incompetence before they stop *assuming* someone bad at maths must be good at something else because people have strong and short suits or it´d be unfair otherwise

Not sure if there are surveys of public opinion but the Snyderman and Rothman survey of media coverage suggested a bias towards environmental causes of individual differences and against test validity.
