I really don't know what we should do in Syria. I think 99 percent of you are about as clueless as me, even if you pretend otherwise. So I have to defer to the actually knowledgable people whose judgment I generally trust.

If nothing else, the evidence suggests the handful of US forces in and around Syria serve as a powerful deterrent. More than likely pro Assad forces, ISIS and the Russians would commit far greater atrocities if we weren't there.
