When we make excuses for “brilliant” scholars who harass and bully junior colleagues and students, we are entirely dismissing the future contributions of the people who’ve been pushed out — many of whom ALSO are brilliant, but they’ll never have a chance to show us.
It is indeed tragic that so many brilliant young conservatives, centrists, & libertarians are harassed and bullied out of academia. I look forward to you joining @HdxAcademy more actively in the fight for viewpoint diversity.
