Part of the idiocy of our times is the mock seriousness of the trivial, a fanatical redo of the old religious impulse to have everyone conform to the smallest detail of control to show homage. The Great Wokening is one of the worst trends of our times & it’s getting worse.

Replace “movies” with “life” and “host movies awards” with “allowed” and you have the desired end-state of the new left.

The problem is the over sensitive outrage culture. Not the fact that they chose a comedian.

For fuck sake! Why does these people think Hollywood is some kind of Holy place where they decide what's right or wrong? They're so high on their horses that the only thing that can stop them is for Hollywood to disappear...or we as an audience, stop giving them any significance.
