As an administrator I quickly learned that voicing concerns that do not align with current orthodoxy are immediately shutdown and motives questioned.
Nobody cares. I've served on many committees and Faculty Senate, and nobody has ever raised male under-representation among students as a problem. There's a little concern about higher attrition among male students, but only as a tuition revenue problem.

Even in the 90's as a student of child-care it was more the women and not the mens issues that were at stake. Its just grown now and believed as if it were reality.

In fairness, this is certainly not the case for Speech-Language Pathology programs. And most psych programs discuss why a gender % difference exists as well. They’ve been trying to “recruit” more males for a long time.
