My opinion is that these technology “monopolies” (Amazon excepted) are far less stable than folks think, particularly social. Regardless, I think the folks who think non-market forces should fix this might find any cure worse than the disease.

The idea that social platforms are common carriers is absurd. I could not build a competing railroad in a million years but I could spin a twitter clone today (then if it got traction, get funding to build the infrastructure)
