English needs a word for people who: 1) respond to a tweet about an article without even looking at the article, 2) make a totally mistaken assumption about what the article is about, and 3) defend this by saying "I was responding to the tweet, not the article"
They should be called 'Meeseeks', based on the irritating, strident, narcissistic beings in the Rick & Morty show (S1:E5) that gradually go insane if their mysterious existential purpose goes unfulfilled.pic.twitter.com/QchgKm8AHU
