How obtuse. A referendum, of itself, is not undemocratic. But a referendum called by the political elites for the sole purpose of overturning an earlier referendum whose outcome has not yet even been implemented *is* undemocratic.https://twitter.com/tombradby/status/1065906834509307904?s=19 …

They voted based on lies, it was hardly democratic. The leave side broke electoral laws and evidence of outside interference to make people to vote to leave... Given the people know the truth now, a vote now would be far more democratic than the earlier referendum.

Nice to see an exchange between
@primalpoly and@PaulEmbery with brazenly sensible opinions on the Brexit referendum - kind of like a sub-tentacle of the IDW.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

1) What relationship with the EU did we vote for? 2) Not sure that the 'elite' is anti-Brexit. Depends who is classed as the elite I guess, too easy to change definition to fit a narrative.

There's no shortage of livid people here just now. The trouble is, they're not all livid about the same thing and confusion reigns.
