Self-identified socialist here; I agree w/criticisms of segments of the Left that do devour their own, having seen it happen. What confounds me is that behind the scenes, there appears to be substantial support for the worldview loosely described as "non-hostile Left."
I hope you appreciate that many people who are critical of the Left started out on the Left, and were pushed out by social justice mobs baying for blood. The Left has no honor, and will eat you alive, no matter how hard you've fought their 'good fight'

I was pushed out by the left because the just piggy back off “social justice” they give 0 shits in reality. Unless the fight for social justice increases government Bureaucracy and the union jobs that go with it.
