They're both a bit vague. It used to be "liberalism" but leftists have corrupted that term beyond repair. Liberals used to stand for individual freedom, now they stand against civil rights, economic freedom, even freedom of thought.

I think that classic liberalism and current conservatism is almost the same in the US. It’s a shame we cannot get these values together with Libertarians and have a strong party or caucus.
