TBH, International Women's Day makes a metric f-ton more sense than International Men's Day given that not everywhere in the world has achieved the kind of gender parity we take for granted in the world's most developed nations.

We'll have gender parity when we have sexual equality in suicide rate, homicide victimization rate, overall death rate, alimony payments, child custody, mental health, work accident rate, etc.

Not your best Tweet. Globally, women have it much, much worse, especially where violence is concerned. As for Western family law, this was skewed because of the strong tendency by men to abandon/neglect their families.
