Honestly it's a little depressing that the first article I ever wrote, in my second year of grad school ('Designing neural networks using genetic algorithms'), is still my most-cited article. You don't happen to know any good intro text or problems on genetic algorithms do you? I'd like to teach the idea to some of my students next term.
