On what grounds do you think 2020 is going to bookend whatever it is that is happening currently?
On the upside, late 21st-century historians will consider the years 2015-2020 the most vivid, bizarre, unpredictable, surreal, and memorable in American history, and will envy those of us who were alive to see it all. May you live in highly tweetable times.

That is incredibly optimistic. I think historians will note this as the demise of the greatest nation arguably in history and the rise of China which might save the ecology of the world at the cost of personal freedom as it fills the power vacuum.
