  My understanding is that what BD passed would allow the accused to directly question the accuser, which would be highly inappropriate. And not at all a violation of the accused’s due process. What am I missing?

  Rights protect the villain for wrong judgement, for mass stampede. Rights where never designed to protect for the cruelty of the villian. Justice needs to recognize and redesign their role to protect victims against perpetrators.
