jack: lets remove follower counts so arguments aren't based on follow count, and rather based on legitimacy checkmark: no not my followers thats not why i use them!! *10 seconds later* checkmark: easy thing to say for someone with 10 followers
On the contrary, if you have lots of followers lots of people will still see your Tweets. The point of the followers isn't to count them! It is to have influence, which you'll still have. (Although note I'm using https://bengrosser.com/projects/twitter-demetricator/ … so don't know how many followers you have)
My old account had 2000+ followers. It was deleted in an instant for saying I'd very happily break Richard Spencer's jaw IFF he ever punched someone else at a protest first.
Maybe the metric of followers sucks and Tweet engagement is a much better indicator of impact?
