This is also, obviously, a way to de-legitimize people with un-PC opinions but high follower counts, so nobody else can tell how popular their views might really be.
It also allows trolls with 1-99 followers to pretend to be bigger than they are.

It’s probably also a way that they can take away your followers without knowing it.
Additionally, for the un-pc individuals with high follower counts, the "like" option for showing (superficial) objective agreement is potentially being taken away.
They should definitely remove the listing of names for increased privacy, of the follower and decreased account spawn. The count? Meh. Seems like they think it’s an argument from authority with high follower counts?
