Is there any actual research on 'ruined orgasms' or 'edging'?

I think Chadwick’s work would speak to the idea of “ruined orgasms”—but I can’t really think of anything beyond that. Also, there is research on “edging.” It’s not necessarily called that in the lit., but research on the stop-start technique & male multiple orgasms speaks to it.
