Thanks! I really think either of Heather’s books would open eyes to the extent of misrepresentations by propaganda machines & obviously Haidt’s is a must read for the politically active.

Haven't read "The Diversity Delusion" yet, but IIRC, "The War on Cops" has been pretty convincingly critiqued

Blimey, you lot read a lot of modern nothings. Nobody read Aristotle and Thucydides any more? I'd like my politicians to read more poetry, Coleridge and Eliot in particular; maybe a little of the travel writing of Evelyn Waugh or the war memoir of Ernst Junger... WhatdoIknow?

I see the value in pre modern literature. However, we live in a modern world with modern facts & figures. We’ve learned a lot about human nature, technology & economies. You’re fetishizing the past.
