Imagine if our government treated gun violence like it does terrorism. The security we’re put through to prevent a dozen deaths a year vs. anyone can walk in anywhere with any type of gun with military size magazines & massacre a dozen in seconds. Gov response? Thoughts & prayers

Given threat of 3D printed weapons, probably the only viable approach is regulating ammunition. A high fed tax on bullets. Mandatory backgr checks before buying anything larger than a BB, no gun show exceptions.
Ammo is fairly low-tech to manufacture and easy to reload. Very hard to regulate.

Including high performance modern ammo? Reloading spent shells can't be that effective or scalable, surely? Can't you regulate the required chemicals in the same way we do for other dangerous substances?
