From an emotional perspective I felt immense adoration and warmth the second I saw the baby. Intuitively, I knew I would do anything to help this child. Then I felt a sickening twist in my gut as the final line was delivered... And I’m pro-choice.
It's the least effective attempt at persuasion I've ever seen. People trying to appeal to a viewer's psychology should try to understand psychology.

So true. Pro-choice has always abstracted babies. Tricky, because babies aren't abstract. But seeing one activates protective circuitry in all but psychopaths.
