I’m the first one to attack the moronic stupidness of socialism & PC ideology, but you have too much faith in an authoritative regime that nominally is it still attached to communism while practicing crony capitalism. It’s reckoning is coming as it’s political fissions widen.
How much are we willing to bet on that? Because at the moment, we're betting everything.

Our bet is the same one since the beginning of the Republic— that the American system for all of its flaws is a highly competitive system with other nations. Maybe China will get to parity, but it has major serious problems (shadow debt, IP rights, rural vs urban inequality).

Key difference is, China seems to have the clarity, will, and power to solve its problems. Name a major internal problem that the US has solved in the last 20 years.
