Would that probably have to do with understandable economic correlations? Nothing against libertarians. Theosophists score higher on IQ as well. Has to be economic selection factors and smaller population. Something like that.

@SamHarrisOrg has pointed out, it’s possible to be high in IQ and not be wise or prudent in your decision making. Having a high IQ would essentially not mean much in some cases. -
IQ is the capacity of learning, more capacity = more plausible becomes adaptability, so there are greater chances of being right when also highly intelligent. It's always about chance, so your "not all cases" argument is invalid
