There's an ambiguity in the question. By having a living Founding Father, do we mean (1) Wilson or Madison of 1787 is teleported to the present and forced to choose, or (2) those guys, with their general principles, adjust their particular views to present circumstances?

For example, if they (1) thought slavery was tolerable, they would make different particular judgments than if they (2) adjusted their belief in human liberty to present circumstances (in which slavery is intolerable).
