I doubt that’s true. There is a strong positive correlation between postgraduate degrees and liberalism, and certainly between postgrad degrees and IQ.

That paper says IQ can 'explain' the gap between academia and the general public on only three issues: abortion, homosexuality & traditional gender roles. Very limited result.

Loved the text you linked. But as far as I know intelligence is normally distributed, as height, but happens that the effects on an individual of intelligence follow the power law due to positive feedback of success (success bring more opportunities to success further)
