I wish more authors published our book proposals after the book comes out, so aspiring authors can see how much one's thinking changes during writing, and how much freedom a book contract allows.

The phrase "Intellectual Biography" in a book title, if I see it in the library or at a bookstore, greatly increases the odd's I'll read it.
