Supremely entertaining and important debate between @davidfrum and Steve Bannon. I strongly hope Frum's message prevails. Liberalism is damaged and needs reform. But divisive populism is not the answer.

That would probably require an essay to answer properly. I am persuadable, though. Neoliberalism is obviously a severely flawed political system/ideology. On the other hand, populism terrifies me. And the rhetoric around Trump, Orban, and others does little to alleviate my fear.

The solution would have been very simple. Kinda what Bill Clinton policies have been. Minus the screwy banking outta control. You can over-intellectualize it to death, but in the end is just simple centrist policies...
