Where I live (Alberta) there are 50 to 60 breeding pairs left (considered At Risk). When they nest in the city, it is always quite the event.

Yet they are thriving in cities like New York, other cities in the US, and in London and other UK cities. As a city dweller instead of cliffs it nests on ledges of tall buildings and feeds on feral pigeons and starlings.
