Twitter doesn’t seem high-res enough to allow much more than very basic calibration as it is - polarizing. I really wonder how much of this miscalculation was already in play because it’s too easy to *like* and throw off a meaningless ratio?

what the like button do is to make people brainless automaton. It originates from facebook ~2005. It was designed, to make people addicted to it. you get a lil thrill when somebody
your stuff. it goads you to post more to get more. -
the like button, also thwarts young people's written communication skill. It it makes people avoid each other. Instead of actually saying thanks, i agree, or otherwise take certain commitment to acknowledge, the
button became a button for easy dismissal.
