If @Twitter removes 'likes', how will America be able to reflect upon its true nature and overcome 'pluralistic ignorance' -- which happens when everybody is mis-calibrated about what everybody else really thinks? (I'm only half joking)

Twitter doesn’t seem high-res enough to allow much more than very basic calibration as it is - polarizing. I really wonder how much of this miscalculation was already in play because it’s too easy to *like* and throw off a meaningless ratio?
