Yes. Smarter people commit far fewer violent crimes, for example.

Partially agree but it’s smart to avoid crime (consequences). Intelligent sociopaths also avoid crime. A bit of an orthogonal measure would be “were smarter people more prone to help where either nothing or everything was at stake”
