You don't need to try that hard to make a point. How about a clear explanation as to why you can buy many garden variety poppies that produce an intoxicating opiate induced high, but hemp is not legal to cultivate in most of the us?

Do woodpeckers eat bark beetles? Those can decimate forests. Should governments hire contractors to raise woodpeckers to contract for forest preservation? Would there then be many more woodpeckers?

So much good could be done in this country if Congress spent most of its time getting rid of stupid laws that do not (and never did) help solve the problem each law was intended to address. Instead Congress does the opposite by doing their best to make up new laws
