In the last 30 years, had any major Hollywood movie featured a young conservative, centrist, or libertarian as a sympathetic protagonist? Curious to hear some examples. There must be a few?

PS another fascinating pattern in replies to this: folks assuming that any male characters who display courage, combat skills, strategic savvy, and masculine virtues must be conservative, even if they're totally non-political in the movie.

Anecdotally, every "Alpha" I have ever personally known has leaned right. Most military I know, gun enthusiasts, hardcore fitness folks, etc., all lean right. Most "academics" I know lean left. Most people that are not highly physical or into getting their hands dirty, lean left.

Another manifestation of a hyper-politicized environment. I’ve come across folks switching baseball & football team alliances based on the red/blue status of the team’s state. A win on the field is seemingly also a win for the Party. So fucked up…
