And isn't there a relationship between the two functions? Not in a Freudian way, but some evo psych kinda reason, like larger breasts indicating a greater ability to produce milk/provide early nutrition for a male's child or something like that?

It's a reasonable hypothesis, but there seems to be no correlation between (pre-pregnancy) breast size and milk production ability, as far as I've seen.
