By 'snark' do you mean 'advocating sex-based genocide'? Is that supposed to be funny? Or only when applied to one sex and not the other?

Or it's a conflated argument about gender politics and class based on one event in mankind's long history. Hardly a fair barometer for the privilege of today or even then. You're just feeling a little mysoginistic, even if you can't see it. Hence, backlash.

Your identity politics is so boring and ignores the fact that there were not enough lifeboats. Also historically, children, women, men and crew (largely male)would have got into lifeboats in that order as well you know.

Is it also worth pointing out the the architecture (male) was arrogant enough to think the ship unsinkable? Now there are some areas you could pick like in advertising where there is an debate to be had on the portrayal of masculinity. Fight those battles instead maybe?

I theorize that these people's genetics haven't been adversly selected for accidentally starting wars. Women, and feminine males were probably in charge of inter tribal negotiations less often. And therefore received less benefit from being outwardly respectful to "the other".

I have a friend whose grandpa died in the titanic and when he tells people they sometimes say “I’m sorry to hear that.”
