Bad take. Alpha/Beta is a model of *women's mate preferences* (documented by guys like Buss) that has been extremely useful to men in deprogramming post-'70s nonsense. Clearly, human hierarchies are more complex; neither "alphas" nor "leaders" is a subset of the other.
