The real 'culture war' isn't about Left vs. Right, or libertarians vs. authoritarians. It's about people who try to think past 2050 vs. people who can't think past 2020.

I think you may be underestimating the correlation. There’s a reason that Gen Z is so rightwing, they’re the children of the rightwing. White evangelicals have a fecundity of 3.9 in the USA, square that with the 1.7 general white fecundity.
