State or federal, health is a public matter and I'm not sure states are better immunized against biased nutritional science.
Health is a private matter, apart from infectious disease. If it does anything at all in health, govt should enforce vaccinations, not give nutrition advice.

It's an opinion that I tend to share, but in the same time a lot of people that make very stupid decisions about their health, beg for a new liver, lung, heart etc, and that cost is also paid by the community, so maybe authorities have legitimacy to create public rules re health.
