Well, they're both in favor of that, to the extent DiFi gets over it pretty quick even when she finds out she's the one they're spying on.
By creating this absurd confirmation circus, it's almost as if both parties want to distract everyone from asking the tough questions about the 4th Amendment and domestic spying.
