Self driving defeats the purpose of a motorbike - the sense of freedom on a bike over the open road is unmatched.

Self driving motorcycles will not be profitable. A self driving car makes sense because you want to get from point A to point B in the quickest and often the safest way possible. A motorcycle is more for thrill-seekers and eliminating the thrill will eliminate the seekers.

Half of driving a cycle is controlling you weight. Have you been on the BACK of a motorcycle? It's a bit frightening even when you trust the "driver" :)
