When I was a teenager & in my early 20s, my friends & I complained a lot about timid and/or lazy guys not making moves. It was a real source of frustration. Can't imagine what it's like now.

She’s making a joke, but the essence of what she’s saying is honest: Folks don’t really want to fix oppression; they want to turn the tables. It’s fueled by resentment and some sort of need for power/autonomy more than anything, I think.

I dont think be scared of women in general, but scared that no one is on a pedestal of invincibility anymore when it comes to mistreatment of women. Re: MeToo,while false allegations are terrible (Ansari),legit ones have FAR outnumbered them (Weinstein/Nassar/OReilley/Spacey etc)
