What percentage of people talk like this and do any of them have blue collar jobs that are vital to society like farmer or sewer maintenance?

Feeding thousands of people and keeping sewers flowing to promote public hygiene are both more important than a few friends. Probably a higher proportion of blue-collar jobs are actually useful to others than white-collar jobs.
