I'd be willing to pay this much more for news that is certified as more accurate, even if it is less plentiful or sensational:
My stated preference is, I'll pay 200% more for the truth.
My revealed preference is, I won't pay the $100/year to subscribe to @TheEconomist even though I know it's much better than other sources.
