This is beautiful (esp. understanding). However, I wonder if "war" and "they" reflect the situation. Is the goal to win or have an honest conversation?

If one applies this strategy to oneself, miracles happen. Know yourself more than the ego cares to know. Liberating.

Its frustrating when people ask why one should read Bell Hooks, Penny McIntosh and the like. Surely if one wanted to understand the Nazis, they'd start with Mein Kampf.

But Geoffrey, if you do that you run the risk of having your opinion changed.

This feels good and sounds right. But my inner skeptic wants to know: is there evidence of this from cultures that have survived for long periods?

In short, mansteel thier position. I like it.

I don’t believe they’re truly ignorant to their blatant inconsistencies and faults in logic; it’s clear that they enjoy the attention. I think the MOST sensible thing to do is just plain ignore them.
