The 2016 edition of doom is well worth a look. with vulcan, even my potato pc can make it look good and deliver decent fps.

Thank you for sharing. I'm actually at my alma mater this weekend and when I drove past my freshman dorm my memory briefly asked whatever became of that Doom game we played via dial-up networking.

Looks a lot better, but not sure it looks more fun. The original DOOM/DOOM 2 are hard to beat for gameplay balance.

But is it *fun* any more? I was trying to play New Collosus (which is a few years old now) with my daughter and we fell back to Skyrim. Like NC, the most recent Doom is so frenetic it's no longer enjoyable. That's a real shame.
