And yet, to call it a 'nonsensical game for children' does something of a disservice to children...
The minimum voting age should be 8, because 8-year-olds actually get excited about things. And they'd get in the habit of civic engagement for a few years before adolescence sours them. Adult voting would become a nostalgic way of reclaiming childhood optimism.
