I haven't met one yet who could explain Y-chromosomal v. mitochondrial ancestry, or how the heritability of sexual orientation can be calculated from twin data.
My pet theory is that most academics in the social sciences and humanities haven't watched a natural history documentary since they were about eleven.

Are there any advanced societies where this sexual strategy has been continued unchecked into the modern era? Utah? Are genetic advantages shown to accrue, once society gets complex?
