Kudos to @billmaher for this:
He understands that free speech is only meaningful if it includes free speech for the people you hate.
His audience doesn't get it.https://twitter.com/Bmac0507/status/1030863075056869383 …

No, Bill doesn't get free speech. Free speech is about the relationship between a citizen and the gov. Not between citizens. Ironically, if the gov enforced "free speech" by blocking FB from removing Jones, the gov would be infringing upon FB's free speech.

You are wholly and entirely wrong. I'm not asking gov't to enforce free speech on FB. I'm encouraging FB users, investors, and workers to pressure FB management into respecting American social norms of free speech. See the difference? Culture v. law?

“American social norms of free speech” came from the 1st amendment Ergo in common use if an American references free speech, it’s assumed to be in the context of 1st amendment If you & Bill cared about free speech, you’d respect FB decision to pull Jones Follow your own adivce

It beggars belief how passionate how you are about something you know so little about. Why don't you try reading something, like at @TheFIREorg or @HdxAcademy
