Yes, most college sexuality classes are remedial sexuality classes, and that's sad.
On the other hand, do we want K-12 teachers unions, school boards, and politicians deciding what gets taught to young people about sex, relationships, and families?

If you think most parents will choose school models (charters, privates, homeschool, etc.) that do a better job of sex ed than the public schools, I think you’re fooling yourself. I’ll trust the average school board’s sex ed curriculum over the average homeschooling parent’s.

As a libertarian, my default is to trust people to make their own choices in life, unless there's very compelling evidence that they're violating other people's rights by doing so.

In the end, if elected politicians don't influence our education system, how can we hold those who implement curriculums to account? I'd prefer to make the job of teaching more academically rigorous & publicly respected. But our attitudes about education are deeply rooted.
