So common to read "I used to be Liberal, grew into Conservative".
In text, seems non-existent the other way around.
BUT in personal experience, ageing, softening bigot/doctrinaire familiar to us all.

This leads me back to an earlier conclusion of mine which is that "not having enough time for stuff" actually leads to much better political decisions (and can also explain some of the early 20s vs early 30s differences in worldview).
