Finished Jonathan Haidt’s The Righteous Mind. V important book. Well-written, wise, even-handed, informed by wide reading in evolution, sociology, psychology, economics, moral & political theory. Every page stimulates constructive thought (& sometimes constructive disagreement).
If everyone read it, plus 'The Blank Slate' by @sapinker, the quality of our political discourse would be notably higher.

Hate to disagree. Read Blank Slate years ago and yet to get on to Haidt’s. And mostly I respect Haidt, but Pinker and Dawk are insufferable, as is Harris
