In other words, no raises ever to keep inflation at zero. Never mind the massive increase in economic inequality - it's okay for the oligarchs to become ever more rich, but those "nominal raises" that make people feel good... huge economic problem. So sickening.
So we should approve economically exploitative tactics that give people the illusion of progress?
